Led by experienced industry professionals, students will explore screen acting, filmmaking, and collaborative storytelling through hands-on activities — culminating in a short film that will be screened for family and friends on the final day.

This school holidays, young performers will dive headfirst into A Midsummer Night’s Dream – one of Shakespeare’s most beloved comedies – learning to bring classic text to life with energy, clarity, and creativity.

DAY 1 – Theatre Shakers: Play, Perform & Imagine
Drama games, building characters through voice, body and imagination, ensemble storytelling, and performance skills!
DAY 2 – Mini Movie Makers: Lights, Camera, Action:
Introduction to filmmaking basics, acting for the camera versus acting on stage, film short comedy/drama scenes in groups, learn the behind the scenes of movie-making magic!
DAY 3 – Mash-Up & Showcase
Quick-fire improv and drama games, film a short commercial, put together a fun performance showcase. End-of-Day performance where family and friends are invited to watch live skits + short edited filmed scenes.
