Lady M is long dead, as is the reign of Macbeth and his tyranny. Yet, her story is unfinished. So much was left unsaid, so little known about what caused her madness, what severed the connection her and Macbeth seemed to share, and what it meant for her to be Queen. 

Her connection with the spirits she conjured to find the courage to follow through in making herself Queen have held her, in death, in a type of purgatory – doomed to linger between the material and the ethereal plane. 

In this state, she relives those moments of her life, over and over again. Her perception has been broadened and she sees flashes not only of her experience during the time of Macbeth’s reign, but others, too. 

She has long been unable to articulate what she has seen and experienced from her relationship with Macbeth and the toxicity they had, to her and Macbeth being manipulated by the supernatural. 

This Faustian production is a tell all from Lady Macbeth’s perspective and seeks to answer some of our most yearning questions. Who is Lady Macbeth? Why was she so obsessed with power? What was her relationship with Macbeth? And, most importantly, what drove her to madness?
